INSPIRATION THAT SHAPE MY APPROACH
Great design doesn’t happen in a bubble—it’s all around me, shaped by the world I explore and the things I’m passionate about outside of work. Take travel photography, for example. It’s taught me to really see—the little details, hidden stories—that I now bring into my designs to create interfaces that actually connect with people on an emotional level and just feel natural to use.
And then there’s hiking. It’s more than just a hobby; it’s a lesson in resilience and going with the flow. Plotting routes, dealing with whatever the trail throws at me, and pacing myself over the long haul—these experiences have shown me why patience and clarity matter so much. Those same qualities help me navigate tricky design challenges and stay steady through all the twists and turns of iteration. Just like every trail has its own rewards if you stick with it, every well-crafted user experience helps people reach their goals smoothly and confidently.
For me, these passions aren’t just ways to unwind—they’re reminders that great design comes from a mix of sharp observation, empathy, and staying calm in the middle of complexity.
